Food Journey: Valentine's Day Breakfast

I know that it is another 4 weeks until Valentine's Day. I think it doesn't hurt to plan something ahead so we will not panic. Cooking special breakfast  for Valentine's Day can  be a wonderful idea for those who can not  have Valentine's dinner with their love ones.  I have been searching for some ideas and I found these recipes that I would love to share with you. These recipes are easy. I think it is important to choose a quick and non-fuzzy recipe because you will not have a lot of time to cook and eat in the morning. And of course, let's practice making them to make sure that everything will be perfect on your special day.

My List: Simple but Fancy Pizza Toppings

I just love to experiment with different kind of toppings when it comes to pizza. Today, I feel like gathering some new ideas to create new look and taste for my pizza. Let's take a look at some of my today's discovery that I think I will give it a try.

Hm... actually, i think I should create a pinterest board just for pizza recipe.

Shrimp and Pesto Pizza with Goat Cheese by Jaimi
I love goat cheese. I think the combination of goat cheese and pesto must be very yummy.

Caprese Salad Pizza by Kiran

I love Caprese salad. When I saw this pizza recipe, I thought why not caprese salad pizza! What a great idea!

Summer Peach and Balsamic Pizza by Lindsay

I have never tried fruit topping before except pineapple. I think peach and balsamic together must be a very unique flavor for a pizza.

Nectarine pizza with fresh basil and reduced balsamic from Alexandra's Kitchen

This one is quite similar to the one above so they got me thinking about using both peach and nectarine. This one use fresh ricotta, mozzarella cheese, goat cheese and mascapone cheese while summer peach and balsamic Pizza above use only mozzarella cheese and goat cheese. Moreover,  Alexandra also add a finishing touch of Parmesan crumbs before baking which create a nice crispy crust on top. Lastly, I think using fresh basil leaves as garnish definitely make this a colorful and refreshing pizza.

Which one is your favorite pizza topping?

This was another outfit for another fine day for my sister.  The temperature in my hometown has started to cool down continuously so my sister couldn't wait to wear her long sleeves lace blouse. ( In Thailand , the temperature is usually hot  and very hot throughout the year.)

I was so surprised when I saw the necklace she was wearing. It is the necklace that I bought very long time ago. This necklace is very unique as it was made using technique that is hard to find nowadays. It is made of patternedclay beads.

DIY Love:New Year Hamper Idea - Fresh Vegetables in Baskets

Hello!
Happy new year to you all!!!
I just came back from a short trip to deliver vegetable baskets to my friends and relatives. It is our family's  way to say happy new year to those we love and say thank you to those who has been kind to us. I was struggling in finding the perfect hamper to give to them for a while. Finally, my friend gave me an idea which I really like.  These vegetable hampers were created by my friend, Poppy. She has just started her own business in growing hydroponic vegetables under the name Papa's Garden.  She also just started  selling vegetable hampers for this holiday season. When I first saw her vegetable hampers, I was quickly decided that they were the perfect gift. These vegetable baskets were so pretty. I think giving fresh vegetables is like wishing the recipients good heath. This year's gift idea was a success. All of the recipients were impressed by the vegetable hampers. My friends said that the vegetables from this garden were so  tasty and not bitter at all. Those vegetables were exactly as Poppy told me that her vegetables were grown with her secret fertilizer recipe so all her vegetables are tasty.

So, basically, my new year was pretty much meeting friends and catching up with relatives. Oh ...I love these moments!  :)
